Mosaic Vermont and Lost Nation Theater Present a Production of The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler

Montpelier – Mosaic Vermont is excited to announce its collaboration with Lost Nation Theater to bring Eve Ensler’s iconic play, The Vagina Monologues, to our community! We’ve joined forces for a performance you don’t want to miss!

The production will feature two performances at Lost Nation Theater on Friday and Saturday Feb. 16 & 17 at 7 p.m. Following these shows, the production will embark on a journey to two other theaters, bringing the impactful narratives to different corners of our community.

The Vagina Monologues is an award-winning play that explores the experiences, challenges, and celebrations of women. Eve Ensler’s hilarious, eye-opening journey into the “forbidden zone” gives voice to a chorus of powerful, lusty, outrageous, poignant, and thoroughly human stories.

“We are thrilled to partner with Lost Nation Theater to present The Vagina Monologues,” said Mary, Director of Advocacy at Mosaic Vermont. “This production is thought provoking and has inspired global conversations about what it’s like to have a vagina. Through the art of theater, we aim to create an inclusive space for reflection, empathy, dialogue, and joy. Beyond the stage, we wanted to find creative ways for our community to engage with us to not just watch the performance but be part of the conversation and participate in changing the culture with us.”

Mosaic Vermont and Lost Nation Theater share a commitment to fostering dialogue and promoting social change through creativity and connection. We’re excited to not only bring the performance here but to engage our community. Following the performances, we’ll be hosting a writing workshop for those inspired to share their own stories with the option to share them at a special evening in the LNT Lobby Cabaret on March 8 for International Women’s Day.
After the opening performance on the Feb. 16, everyone is invited to head down to Woodbelly Pizza for an afterparty! Join us for specialty pizza, goodies, and a chance to connect and celebrate the performance.
