Vermont Mountaineers #BathroomBailout

#BathroomBailout is the collaboration between Wind River Environmental, The Vermont Mountaineers and the Central Vermont community for upgrading the deteriorating bathroom facilities at the historic Montpelier Recreation Field. This is a baseball season-long campaign of local businesspeople, politicians and personalities that will be locked in custom made porta-potty jails raising donations (bail) to be let out before each game.

There will be two participant jails for local volunteers to compete in raising bail as well as fans to have their own fun photo opportunities when not in use. The ideal goal will be creating fun content for sharing online and promoting the gofundme link for the campaign. Donations will also be accepted at the jail site. The donation link is gofund.me/16f54eb5 or simply search Vermont Mountaineers on the site.

The season opener on June 11th will be the introduction to the campaign to show the jails and open them up for photo opportunities for the fans. Participants start being bailed out at the second game on June 12th. The Vermont Mountaineers’ baseball organization, a 501 C(3) non-profit, is a member of the nationally recognized New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) which plays in all six New England states and recruits its players from the top U.S. collegiate baseball programs.
