Burlington City Arts presents its next Family Art Saturday on January 23 at 11 a.m. The video art activity below connects with our BCA Center Spring 2021 exhibition Meg Lipke: In the Making. Inspired by Lipke’s innovative, colorful shaped paintings, participants will explore the possibilities of materials and contemporary abstraction.
BCA teaching artist Jessie Baldwin guides families in experimenting with everyday textiles, upcycled household items, and color application techniques to create three-dimensional stuffed paintings that evoke Lipke’s animated soft paintings and sculptures.
