Upstream–Downstream: A River Resilience Film Festival & Panel Discussion
Thursday, January 19 | 6:30 – 9 pm | Pavilion Auditorium
FREE | Tickets Required
A community celebration of Montpelier’s watershed and our place within it. From the Winooski headwaters to Lake Champlain, we’ll travel upstream and downstream showcasing endeavors in conservation, education, and recreation along our local waterways. We’ll begin the evening with a series of 5- to 40-minute films, then transition into a discussion about the health of our local rivers with panelists who bring different perspectives about our waterways. There will also be opportunities to chat with water conservation organizations and hear from Montpelier High School students who are envisioning our future relationship with local lakes and streams. A Montpelier PLACE event. Refreshments will be provided.
Have questions that you’d like our panelists to address? We want to hear from you! Our panel discussion will be driven by the input provided when you sign up for the event.
