
Led by LNT’s Producing Artistic Director and Resident Composer Kathleen Keenan with Brandy Perez (co-founder of Ballet Wolcott and LNT Assoc Managing Director), students, ages 6-8, are introduced to Acting, Movement, Music, Imagination, Creativity, Character, and the protocols of theater.
Using improv, music & songwriting, movement with a little dance, storytelling, ensemble work and fun exercises, participants will build a simple tale together based on a short children’s poem.
Individual & group work serves first-time and young students.
This workshop is full of laughter and the support so vital to making participants feel safe to learn new things, to take creative risks and to fully express themselves. Participants will come away with new skills and confidence.
No audition necessary. No pre-requisites.
Suitable for first time and returning students, age 6-8.
Protocols for Covid-19 Safety – including masking and testing – will be followed.
