Throughout this summer, Montpelier and neighboring communities have faced many challenges. Often when we are in the midst of difficulty, we forget to pause to take care of ourselves. This class will encourage you to pause to take meaningful care of you. We will begin the session with a writing exercise to release anything you’ve been needing to express. The remainder of class will be dedicated to taking time to be still through guided meditation and restorative yoga. Due to damage the library endured this summer, we will gather for this event virtually. To create a sense of community, we kindly ask that you keep your cameras turned on throughout the event. Some items to have nearby during the workshop are a notebook/journal, pen/pencil, yoga mat/towel, pillows & blanket, and water bottle.
