Chocolates with Charlie is back! Charlie Nardozzi is coming to the Stowe Free Library to give us all some hints and tips for our summer gardening. This year Charlie will be talking about soils and mulches!
Charlie says that soils are the soul of your garden. Get this right and everything will grow better. He will be talking about some basics of soil science, compost and fertilizers, drainage and innovative ways to create healthier soil such as no-dig. He will include talking about organic mulches, which are best and how to use them in your landscape.
Come join us at the Stowe Free Library on Monday, February 6th at 7pm for an early Valentine’s Day date with Charlie. Locally made chocolates will be provided for all! This is a free and public event.
As we are all friends here please make sure to use the back door by the Elementary School as the Library formally closes at 5:30pm on Mondays.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Stowe Free Library. The Friends is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, supporting library resources, activities and programs. For information, visit http://www.stowelibrary.org/friends, call the Library at 802-253-6145 or email email@example.com.
