The Vermont Granite Museum announces its newest exhibit, Barre, Painted Fresh: Oil Paintings by Tracey J. Hambleton. Tracey J. Hambleton is a plein air painter who finds inspiration in familiar views, photographs of local buildings and landmarks, and the view outside her window. During her eleven-month residency at Studio Place Arts, she explored Barre’s landmark buildings, iconic industrial areas, hillside houses, and crisscrossing tracks of the railroad in her work. Barre, Painted Fresh will be on display at the Vermont Granite Museum from Thursday, August 31 through Sunday, October 15, and all of the paintings on display in this exhibition are available for sale. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am – 4pm, every week until the end of October.
