Animals and Poetry Reading

April 17, 2021 @ 6:30 pm

Free

Poets Rowan Quince Buckton, Lizzy Fox, and Tomás Q. Morín explore human-animal relationships with tenderness and urgency in an era of environmental crisis. With literary visitations from hares, stingrays, and dancing circus bears, these poets will share their most creature-filled works and offer a Q&A about the role animals play in their writing and their lives.

  • Rowan Quince Buckton holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
  • Lizzy Fox’s debut collection, “Red List Blue” was released in January 2021.
  • Tomás Q. Morín is the author of the forthcoming poetry collection “Machete,” as well as the forthcoming memoir, “Let Me Count the Ways.”
