Charm is a small dog who needs a wise, small-dog-experienced owner. While he might walk over to new things confidently, he will quickly retreat and become nervous. He loves treats, and that is a way to make friends with him fast. He makes human friends the best when folks get down to his level, throw treats, and allow him to approach at his own pace. He seeks a home free of children, has no prior cat exposure, and seeks to be the only dog in the home. In his prior home he had a Rottweiler dog friend who played appropriately with a dog Charm’s size. While he was okay with that dog friend, he can get jealous of another dog getting all of the human’s attention, so he needs to be the only dog in the home.
