Monochrome days feature a limited winter palette with occasional dawns or dusks of improbable crimson brilliance. These cold, dry winter days and nights create atmospheric conditions for this and other pleasures of the season. Nights will likely become less overcast, with luminous evenings darkening into starry or moonlit nights. Soon, if we are lucky, we’ll have more snow for skiing and sledding, and maybe even a wet snow day, perfect for snow sculptures!
