There have been more than 3,800 incidents of racism toward Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders reported in the U.S. in the year since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Montpelier’s City Council last month adopted a resolution condemning the violence, most of which has been directed toward women. The resolution is shown below.
