Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice (CVHHH) is pleased to welcome Ed and Trish Read of Fayston as Honorary Chairs of its 2020 Fall Appeal. Ed, a former Vermont State Representative, serves on the Fayston Select Board and joined CVHHH’s Board of Directors and Finance Committee in 2020.
Ed and Trish experienced CVHHH’s care first-hand when Trish’s father, Len, received hospice care at home. “The care that CVHHH provided in Len’s last few days, and the support that the hospice nurses and personal care attendants gave to Trish and her mother, were nothing short of remarkable,” the Reads write in their letter to Central Vermonters, which was mailed in November. Ed and Trish say that CVHHH’s hospice team cared for Len as if he were the most important patient they had ever cared for.
The Reads support CVHHH because they believe that Central Vermonters should have the opportunity to receive exceptional health care in the security of their homes. “The importance and relevance of CVHHH to the Central Vermont community cannot be understated.”
