February! The sun is hotter! Halfway between winter solstice and spring equinox, we’ve pulled out of our winter stall and are adding 17 minutes a week to the length of day, and growing. Fox and fisher tracks are everywhere. Food supplies dwindle and denning starts. And with shorter nights, predators will be pushing the daylight hours to find enough food.
