City Explains Winter Parking Ban

MONTPELIER — Winter Parking Ban One of the primary tools the city uses to communicate when a winter parking ban is in place is the VT Alert system. This system is run by the State of Vermont and provided at no cost to the City of Montpelier. The State of Vermont has put together step by step instructions on signing up for Montpelier Alerts. By signing up for VT Alerts we will call you or send you a text or email (your choice!) notifying you when a Winter Parking Ban is in place or has been lifted. Other ways to find out if a parking ban is in place is on the city’s website (www.montpelier-vt.org), the winter parking line (802-262- 6200), the city’s Facebook page, the police department’s Facebook page, or Front Porch Forum.
