MONTPELIER — Local singer/songwriter Susan Picking is set to perform with local children on Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. at North Branch Cafe, 41 State St. Montpelier. Picking, who won the 2014 Montpelier Singer/Songwriter contest sponsored by The Lost Nation Theater and Guitar Sams, is creating a Children’s CD. This performance with the children marks the conclusion of her Kickstarter Campaign: Making Music with Children in the School of Life. These local children will sing positive message based songs with her at both the performance and on the recording.
